It applies to all data collected through our website (saferbirthproject.co.uk), contact forms, webinar registrations, training bookings, and support services.

We only collect data that you provide to us directly. We do not buy data, scrape data, or collect data from third parties.
Sensitive data

If you choose to share personal or sensitive information during our support services, this is treated with the highest level of confidentiality. We do not record, store, or share the content of support sessions unless required by law (see Safeguarding below).

Wix: our website is hosted on Wix. Form submissions are processed through Wix's servers. See Wix privacy policy.

Microsoft 365: emails, calendar, and meeting invitations are managed through Microsoft 365. Training is delivered via Microsoft Teams. See Microsoft privacy statement.

Payment processors:Â if you pay for training or resources online, your payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your payment card details.
We will not, without your express consent, provide your personal information to any third party for the purpose of direct marketing.

We may also share data if required by law, for example in response to a court order or to comply with safeguarding obligations.

6. Safeguarding

SAFER Birth Project follows standard safeguarding procedures. If during the course of our work a safeguarding concern arises involving risk to a child or a vulnerable adult, we may be required to share relevant information with the appropriate authorities. We will inform you if this happens, unless doing so would put someone at risk.

Our services are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately.

Your data may be processed outside the UK by our service providers (Wix and Microsoft). Both providers have appropriate safeguards in place for international data transfers in compliance with UK GDPR. See their respective privacy policies for details.
